Sis. Kim Hillenburg
My name is Sis. Kim Hillenburg and I have been a member of Soul’s Harbor Apostolic Church since 2006. I have been teaching the Nursery class since October 2007, and I have also helped with Superchurch. In my class we read a bible story, do an activity page, have a snack, and then we give the kids time to play as well. Sis. Amanda Williamson co-teaches my class, as we have a large amount of children. Kids ranging from 1½-5 years of age are welcome and we always have a wonderful time learning about the Lord together.
My favorite bible verse is – ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Please come and visit sometime. We would be happy to have you!
Brandy Beyers has been a member of Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church since August 1996. Since that time she has served as a children's church team member, young people helper, sign language instructor, and Sunday School teacher. She currently teaches grades 3-5 every Sunday morning.
Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." No matter what happens she knows that all things are in the hands of the Lord and doing his work is the most important place to be.

Gabe Beyers has been a member of Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church since March 1992. Since that time he has served as Assistant Sunday School Director, a children's church team member, young people helper, and Sunday School teacher. He currently teaches the youth, grades 9-12 every Sunday morning.
His favorite scripture is Revelation 2:17 - "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." This is the message he tries to teach the young people, to endure and have faith that it will be worth it all one day.
Brother Chris Hunt has been a member of Soul’s Harbor Apostolic Church since 1993. He was baptized in Jesus name in December and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on Easter Sunday in 1994. Since that time he has helped with the children’s church and led the young people in drama skits. He has taught the teen class (grades 6-8) since its inception in the fall of 2007.
One of his favorite scripture is Philippians 4:8 – “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever thins are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Focus on the good things, stay positive and the Lord will be with you along your journey. God bless.
I have been attending church at Soul’s Harbor regularly for a little over 10 years. I was baptized in Jesus’ Name in October of 2001 and received the gift of the Holy Spirit in January 2002. In 2005, I was asked to fill a vacancy in the Nursery Class. I was honored to do so and after praying about it, I accepted the position. Since then I have moved into the Beginners Class. It has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I love the children and sometimes I even learn from them. The Bible says that we must be as “little children” to see the Kingdom of Heaven and I try to see things through their eyes.
I remember going to church with my Grandmother and Aunt when I was very young and the foundation that was built in my life that I still draw from today. If I can teach even one child about Jesus, then I feel I have done a work for God and that is my desire to serve God and make Heaven my home.
